New EDS research is useful to discover. It still needs context, replication and expert interpretation before it becomes clinical guidance.
Major update coming
The international diagnostic framework for EDS and HSD is scheduled for publication on 1 December 2026. A separate best-practice care and management publication is planned for March 2027. This project will re-review affected pages when those publications appear.
