Editorial policy

Evidence and sourcing

Medical claims should be traceable to reputable primary literature, recognised clinical references, public-health organisations or appropriate professional bodies. Important pages show a source and review date.

Automation with a human gate

Research discovery may be automated. Medical interpretation is not automatically promoted into the knowledge hub. New research is reviewed in context before it changes explanatory content.

Lived experience

Patient stories are valuable but separate from medical evidence. We link to original public stories where possible and moderate community submissions before publication.

Corrections and conflicts

Credible corrections should be made promptly. Commercial relationships, sponsorships, charity partnerships and other material conflicts should be disclosed clearly.
